 Closeboard Wooden Garden Gate (Total height 182cm x up to 120cm wide)

Constructed to the exact width (and height) you require. Gates are 182cm high as standard (180cm closeboard length, plus 2cm planed 3x1 top capping). If you would like a shorter gate, please let us know. This listing is for a gate up to 120cm wide. We make wider gates in this style- please see other listings

Constructed using timber that has been sourced from renewable forests.  All timber used has been tanalised pressure treated meaning it is resistant to rot. Gates are fully framed and braced using planed 3x2 timber. Planed 4x2 timber is used for the central horizonal rail, meaning there is sufficient space for locks, bolts etc.

Side gate hung

When looking at the FRONT of the gate what side will the hinges be on (left/right)? This will allow us to put the bracing the correct way around. Please inform us at time of purchase which side the hinges will be on.

Straight/Convex

This listing is for a straight top gate. We also make with a convex (curved/arched top). See other listings 

Timber used

Closeboard (also called featheredge).

Rough sawn vertical boards that are thicker on one side than he other- hence name. The boards partially overlap each other.

When you complete the checkout and pay for the gate. Please inform us at time of purchase the exact width of gate you require. We will make the gate to this size. Please ensure that you provide us with the correct size that you need.

If you need help to work out the size you need please ask. This is a bespoke item listing and therefore returns are not possible.

Lead time

Our standard lead time is up to 15 working days (3 weeks) from payment to dispatch. We offer an express service for an additional £30, where items are dispatched within 5 working days of payment. If you require express service please choose the express service (last listing in the gate section).
